Wood Duck Box Installation 2009
In 2009 the Mid-Shore chapter constructed, installed and maintained 24 wood duck boxes. The boxes were installed on private and public wetlands.
The total egg count for 2009 was 238 eggs laid with 70 percent successfully hatched! This year the chapter plans to erect 24 more wood duck houses.
